Account Manager

Summary of Organisation: 

Here at Design and Supply Limited we manufacture bespoke steel hinged doors, ranging from your standard door to doors with fire protection capabilities and doors with extremely high security standards.  

We are currently looking for a Key Account Manager to manage some of our Key Accounts, delivering excellent customer service. 

Summary of Role: 

To develop effective relationships with existing customers and act as their designated point of contact for all steel door enquiries; ensuring that their needs, expectations, and quotations are managed effectively and reliably at all times.  

Key to the role is the achievement of monthly performance targets/KPI’s relating to quotations accurately outputted and sent to the customers.  

Contribute effectively to the estimating team and act as an ambassador for the company, representing Design and Supply Limited positively at all times.  

This role would suit someone who can work to a high standard in a fast-paced environment. You will be the main point of contact and you will providing the key accounts with the best possible service every step of the way. Your role will entail:  

  • To provide quotations to key accounts in a timely and accurate manner using our internal software programme.  
  • Managing the key accounts’ expectations with quotation return times.  
  • To develop and maintain knowledge of the internal products, systems, and processes. 
  • To effectively implement account management to ensure that the customer is satisfied, and internal monthly targets are achieved.  
  • Engaging with key accounts through various ways of communication. Face to Face meetings, video conferencing, phone calls, etc. Ensuring the highest level of customer service is maintained.  
  • Using initiative to find solutions for the obstacles in specifications that the key accounts may bring.  

 

Essential Criteria 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Ability to work in a team.  
  • Highly organised.  
  • Credible and confident communicator (written and verbal) at all levels.  
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work proactively using own initiative.  
  • High levels of digital competence. (E.g. Microsoft Office, CRM Platforms)  
  • Full driving license and own vehicle.
