Advanced CAD/CAM Engineer
Design and Supply Ltd has been a trusted steel door manufacturer for over 30 years, delivering durable, bespoke solutions to the construction, commercial, and residential sectors. We are looking for an Advanced CAD/CAM engineer to join our expanding team and support the delivery of high-quality products within our Slimline steel glazed door department.

The responsibilities of an Advanced CAD/CAM engineer are as follows:

• Be an efficient and supportive part of our design team.
• Responsible for the input of design parameters into bespoke automation software.
• Provide and be able to interpret detailed integration drawings including steel curtain walling for architects, contractors and manufacturing.
• Provide technical assistance to architects, contractors and production.
• Attending design meetings on site when required
• Attend meetings with senior staff to help identify and resolve any issues.

The successful applicant will have the following characteristics:

• Excellent time keeping and prioritization skills.
• A keen eye for detail when assessing architect drawings and site requirements.
• Experience in working with architects and construction industry is essential.
• Experience using CAD/CAM software essential.
• A methodical and consistent mindset is essential.
• Experience with building regulations relating to drawings is highly desirable.

Hours:
39 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 7.30am – 4.00pm
Friday: 7.30am – 3.00pm

Salary will be dependent upon applicant’s ability.
