Research Hub has been shortlisted for the Schüco Excellence Awards 2025.

This unique project breathed new life into two Victorian industrial buildings, the Retort House and Coal Shed, transforming them into a state-of-the-art research hub for the University of Bristol. Our role involved delivering a technically complex, bespoke glazing package that met stringent modern standards while preserving the building’s industrial heritage.

From curved arched screens fabricated to match 19th-century stonework to modern high-performance glazed partitions inside, every detail was designed and engineered for performance, precision, and beauty.
